Each finely crafted model takes hundreds of hours to produce! All large
models are made by expert level craftsman and are plank on frame construction.
Built like a real ship! As always there are many different suppliers with
different quality levels. We are impressed with this company as they take
the time to properly dry the wood before hand bending to create
the hulls of these ships. The inside of the models are filled with a special
finish to prevent warping. The metal (not plastic) accessories are hand
cast and the rigging is functional!
Anyone who has ever built a ship model of their own understands how much effort truly goes into these collectable Ship Models.
