Batik

These unique sculptures combine the Indonesian mastery of woodworking with batik fabric. Each piece is hand carved and then hand painted in a crackled or distressed finish. Batik fabric, a fabric hand colored using dyes and hot wax, is applied to the sculpture and highlighted in gold paint. The combination of these two mediums renders a sophisticated look that will compliment any room.
